The second photograph I took with one of Tommy's cameras was the bee gracing my home page. It was responsible for getting me hooked. I have many more bee photographs than anything else so if you are looking a truly small specialisation in photography I think I have found it!

Flowers add colour to our gardens and our lives. 

Some of nature's greatest patterns are to be found in seed heads. I think there is a beauty about the dying plant too as well as the hope of new life from seeds and berries.

The NE of England holds a mixture of city and rural with Hadrian's wall, coast and hills thrown in. My home now for a decade and I am still discovering new images to capture.

People fascinate me - I try and capture their essence whether in an informal setting or with formal portraiture.
